Week 6: Start Em' & Sit Em'

Week 6 is already here and bye weeks are starting to creep up. If you have any questions about what you should so with your lineups we are always there for you on Twitter so stick with us all season for fantasy advice and more by following us on twitter @TheUpsidePlay. Thanks to those who have been with and and we are always welcoming the ones reading for the first time!

QB Starts

  • Joe Burrow (at Lions)

    • The Lions defense hasn’t been able to stop the deep ball all season. Teams facing the Lions have thrown the deep ball 18% of the time and they are allowing the most yards per pass attempt in the NFL (9.3). With Higgins, Boyd and the breakout of Ja’Marr Chase, Burrow should be able to produce a nice top 12 week.

  • Matthew Stafford (at Giants)

    • Stafford faces a Giants defense who has allowed 27 points in 4 of their 5 games this season. Last week we were able to see Stafford have success down the field as he completed 7 passes of 20+ yards. Stafford should be able to exploit the Giants defense who has yet to show any flashes of the unit we saw last season.

QB Sit

  • Ryan Tannehill (vs Bills)

    • Even with Julio returning for this game Tannehill will have a hard time getting anything going against the Bills defense who is only giving up 251 total yards per game.

RB Starts

  • Darrell Henderson (at Giants)

    • When Henderson is healthy and on the field he is the main back in the Rams offense playing 44 or more snaps in the 4 games he’s been available. The Giants defense is giving up 21.8 points per game to the RB position and Henderson’s seen a TD or over 70 yards in every game so far. The Rams starting RB should be viewed as a higher end RB2.

  • James Robinson (vs Dolphins)

    • James Robinson has been on fire this season. He has 20+ fantasy points in each of his last three games and faces Dolphins who are giving up 25 points per game and the second most TD’s (6) to RB’s so far.

RB Sit

  • Josh Jacobs (at Broncos)

    • The Broncos have always been stout against the run and this season hasn’t been any different. Denver is only giving up 10.6 points to the RB position. Josh Jacobs has been struggling with injury and a really bad offensive line. Jacobs will be a TD dependent RB2 in week 6.

WR Starts

  • Robert Woods (at Giants)

    • As we touched on with Stafford the Giants defense can’t stop the pass. Robert Woods is coming off a 12 catch, 150 yard performance and has shown he is capable of being the top target for Stafford.

  • Ja’Marr Chase (at Lions)

    • Ja’Marr is really impressing all of his doubters right now. He’s had 14 or more points in every game this season along with scoring 5 TDs through 6 games. Joe Burrow trusts Chase in all situations and we will be watching closely to see how that duo grows throughout the year.

WR Sit

  • Robbie Anderson (vs Vikings)

    • Robbie has been incredibly unproductive this season and not much should change this week. DJ Moore is clearly looking like Darnold’s favorite target which is making Anderson’s path to success more and more murky.

TE Start

  • Mike Gesicki (at Jaguars)

    • Tua is back for the Dolphins and will be looking for his safety blanket in Gesicki. The Jaguars are giving up 12 Fantasy Points per game to the TE position so we should see a lot of Gesicki in this game.
