Upside Play Pick 'Em Week 5

Tennessee Titans (2-2) @ Indianapolis Colts (2-2)

Spread: TEN -2.5 || O/U 43.5

I hate to say it but I have sincerely enjoyed watching the AFC South this year. Jonathan Taylor making his season debut is undoubtedly the story of the week, and he’s going to get tested immediately. The Titans have been a force against the run through the first 4 weeks, giving up just 70 yards a game and only allowing one rushing TD. The Colts are a surprising 2-2 and were close to knocking off the Rams last week after a 23 point 2nd half to force OT. Anthony Richardson seems like he’s slowly figuring it out and has been every bit as athletic as advertised. Looks ugly on paper, but this game has a close line and two physical division rivals.

New York Jets (1-3) @ Denver Broncos (1-3)

Spread: DEN -2.5 || O/U 43.5

Credit where credit is due, Zach Wilson played a solid game last week on primetime against the defending champs. It still didn’t stop me from thinking what this line would look like with Aaron Rodgers under center. Denver has somehow looked just as soulless as last year. Their defense has given up 30+ points in their last 3 games, allowing an absurd 476 yards per game this season. The Jets are dead last in both 3rd down conversion % and time of possession. This one is a true “Unstoppable Force vs. Immovable Object” standoff… just for the wrong reasons.

Green Bay Packers (2-2) @ Las Vegas Raiders (1-3)

Spread: LV -2.5 || O/U 44.5

It feels like just last week we were talking about how disrespected the Packers have been and how quickly Jordan Love has established himself as the leader of this team. Just a week later they’re dogs against a struggling Raiders team. Jimmy looks like he'll be back in the mix on Monday Night after clearing concussion protocol and they’re going to need him to figure it out quickly. The Raiders have the worst turnover differential in the NFL heading into week 5 and have failed to establish the run with just 65 rush yards a game. This is a massive get right game for two fan bases craving to create a winning culture as they enter a new era.
