1st Overall Pick - Tennessee Titans
Cam Ward, QB, Miami
Sorry to those who were expecting fireworks at the top of this Mock but we just don’t see how Tennessee passes on a QB. Ward is going to start week one and be the new face of Titans football in 2025, let’s hope Callahan and co. can provide a winning recipe for him early on.
2nd Overall Pick - Cleveland Browns
Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
One of the most exciting prospects in recent memory, Travis Hunter's rare ability to find success on either side of the ball is too much to pass up for Cleveland. Realistically he’d be a top 3 prospect at both WR and Cornerback, with college production to back it up. The Browns will have enough breathing room to figure out where he’ll spend the bulk of his time as a young pro, but it would surprise me if we don’t see him in packages all over the field. Hunter will be a household name by December, book it.
3rd Overall Pick - New York Giants
Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
I know the Giants have Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux but if you’re in that war room you can’t pass up on one of the true “Blue Chip” prospects of this draft. Thibodeaux hasn’t lived up to his high draft pick and should have trade interest around the league on Day 2. Carter can step in right away and give the Giants another talented player at a premium position.
4th Overall Pick - New England Patriots
Will Campbell, OT, LSU
If you haven’t heard by now, some people are scared about Will Campbell’s measurables and his ability to stick outside as a pro. Regardless of where he’s slated to begin his career, he’ll be an anchor for young QB Drake Maye and help keep his jersey clean on Sunday’s. Campbell dominated SEC competition, allowing just 4 sacks across 3 seasons at LSU. A starter from Day 1 on a team desperately trying to revamp the trenches is a win regardless of the media’s view on draft capital.
*5th Overall Pick - Chicago Bears (Projected Trade w/ JAX)
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
The Bears had a great offseason after hiring Ben Johnson and revamping their Offensive Line with proven talent. Johnson is one of the most creative offensive minds in the league, giving him Ashton Jeanty to start a young core with 2024 first round picks Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze would be very fun for football sickos. Jeanty is the clearly the best offensive weapon in this draft and will be hearing his name called very early on Thursday night.
6th Overall Pick - Las Vegas Raiders
Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
The Raiders seem like they would be very comfortable with how the board shook out. With 3 top end players available here this could be another trade back spot but we decided that Mason Graham is just too perfect of a fit for Las Vegas to pass up on. Graham would start alongside Maxx Crosby, Christian WIlkins and Malcolm Koonce and make the Raiders DL a major strength. Graham can play run and pass at a high level and shows the character that Pete Carrol and John Spytek want to start building around.
7th Overall Pick - New York Jets
Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
The Jets seem like they really want to give Justin Fields a legit shot at being the franchise QB he was drafted to be, so giving him a protector on the right side would be a pivotal move. Membou is a very physical and nasty run blocker that can open up things for Hall and Fields. The Jets would suddenly have a solid and young offensive line which would hopefully form some continuity that they've been searching for.
8th Overall Pick - Carolina Panthers
Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
Jalon Walker’s versatility makes him a prototype for many new age NFL defensive schemes, that combined with the Panthers needing help all over the front 7 makes this an easy selection. Walker has the tool bag to thrive as a legit pass rusher and enough athletic ability to make an impact in coverage. He’ll need to bulk up but with NFL training programs that won’t be a problem, this is a high upside pick that can keep opposing teams off script at the next level.
9th Overall Pick - New Orleans Saints
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The NFL community has been mocking Sanders here for weeks but I just don’t see them reaching for a QB at this point of their rebuild. They need top talent as much as anything right now and Will Johnson fits a need. The Saints own 4 picks in the top 100 so moving up into the back end of the first or early second for a QB seems like a better route.
*10th Overall Pick - Jacksonville Jaguars (Projected Trade w/ CHI)
Tyler Warren, TE, Penn St.
The Jaguars traded back and gained some day 2 draft capital while also finding a swiss army knife that will instantly make Trevor Lawrence and this Jags offense better. Tyler Warren was used all over the field for Penn St; Receiving threat, elite run blocker, wildcat QB, etc..
He accounted for 67 first downs for Penn State’s offense, finished with over 100 receptions, and 3rd in the NCAA in yards after catch. He’s a do it all TE that can instantly make a positive impact for new head coach Liam Coen.
11th Overall Pick - San Francisco 49ers
Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss
The 49ers have been very vocal about their willingness to trade down from this pick. John Lynch also stated that he was skeptical of this being an option due to most teams having a similar feeling. With all that said, Walter Nolen is a great option for a team needing highly talented bodies on the DL to help solidify the run game. He was extremely productive last season at Ole Miss, tallying up 6.5 sacks and 14 TFL’s. Nolen will be a good weapon for Robert Saleh’s defense, exploding out of the 3-tech and showcasing excellent leverage/hands in the trenches.
12th Overall Pick - Dallas Cowboys
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
McMillan to the Cowboys feels like the splash they’ve been missing after back to back lackluster drafts. Dallas has been desperately trying to find a spark for this fan base, and while they’ve invested in the trenches in recent years, their current playmakers leave much to be desired. T-Mac has been talked about as a potential top 5 pick, and his massive catch radius and multiple years of high end production would fit perfectly alongside CeeDee Lamb.
13th Overall Pick - Miami Dolphins
Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas
The Dolphins have to protect Tua and after losing Terron Armstead there is a glaring need for a tackle. With Banks falling a little, the Dolphins should run this card in. Banks is a strong lineman who can swallow up edges with a quick first step and big frame. He can move extremely well for his size and proved it against top tier competition. Banks would fit very well in the Dolphins run game as a guy who can pull quick and get to the second level efficiently and effectively.
14th Overall Pick - Indianapolis Colts
Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
It feels like the whole world is anticipating Indy taking a top tier tight end with this pick, but after losing two integral pieces to their offensive line, we have them rolling with our top rated IOL, Tyler Booker. Booker has some mobility questions but his tape portrays one consistent theme, once his hands are secured on you, it's over. This is a riskier pick as we know the Colts like to run, and run blocking is the area needed to improve for Booker. Ultimately the massive frame and grip strength land him at #14.
15th Overall Pick - Atlanta Falcons
Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
The Falcons have needed some pass rush help for quite some time and this year seems like the time to finally address that. While Mykel Williams is still very raw (won’t be 21 until June) he has the length, size, speed and play style that can help him develop into a key contributor in the NFL. He'll help shore up the run game from the jump and develop the pass rush tool bag as he goes.
16th Overall Pick - Arizona Cardinals
Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
Kenneth Grant is a BIG body on the defensive line that can boogie with the best of them. Grant and Mason Graham formed one of the most lethal duo’s in college football over the past few years. His pass rush repertoire could use some refining but the tools are there, showcasing a solid swim move with terrifying closing speed. Coach Gannon has seen what a dangerous defensive line can do down the stretch, this picks helps fortify that mindset.
17th Overall Pick - Cincinnati Bengals
Grey Zabel, OG, North Dakota State
The Bengals draft plans should be simple. They can either load up on defense to help their struggling unit or invest in some protection for Joe Burrow to be able to get the ball to their $275 million receivers. Grey Zabel has experience as a tackle at NDSU but projects as a guard in the NFL after he went down to Mobile for the Senior Bowl and lit up a great defensive line group all week.
*18th Overall Pick - Los Angeles Chargers (Projected Trade w/ SEA)
Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Word around town is Colston Loveland could be a top 10 pick come Thursday evening. Even if he doesn’t end up getting picked that high, teams will be calling to move up if he gets past the Colts at #14. Here we have him reuniting with Harbaugh in Los Angeles after the Chargers move up 4 spots to seal the deal. Loveland does everything you need in a modern TE, with one of the more polished route trees for the position and the ability to stretch defenses as a dangerous athlete up the seams. His blocking has gotten knocks over the draft process but I feel very comfortable saying he can be an impact run blocker once his frame fills out.
19th Overall Pick - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
The Bucs need some reinforcements in the secondary and have been preaching versatility for quite some time. Barron played on the inside and outside at Texas and had a great college career piling up 8 INTs and 32 PBUs while playing in 57 career games. Barron brings a physical presence that could play well in the Bucs secondary that could use a little more juice. Expect to see him lineup all over the secondary and make plays in off coverage.
20th Overall Pick - Denver Broncos
Omarion Hampton, RB, UNC
Rumor has it that the Broncos could be looking to move up for a playmaker. Jeanty? McMillian? In the end they have a very good chance of sticking and picking at #20 and securing a potential bellcow RB in Omarion Hampton. Hampton racked up over 3,100 rushing yards in his two years as the #1 option at North Carolina, averaging 5.9 yards per carry, and broke the 100 yard mark 17/25 times.
21st Overall Pick - Pittsburgh Steelers
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The slide stops at 21 for Sanders who will undoubtedly be talked about every 5 minutes, but this is a perfect fit. Shedeur is still a project quarterback who lands in a spot with some great weapons around him on both sides of the ball and a great head coach who has proven to get the best out of his players. I wouldn’t guarantee him starting week 1 with Mason Rudolph being serviceable and comfortable but Sanders will be playing at some point this year and could turn around an ugly Steelers offense that’s been desperate for a spark at that position since Big Ben retired.
*22nd Overall Pick - Seattle Seahawks (Projected Trade w/ LAC)
Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Seahawks traded back a few spots and are still able to secure a potential ace for Mike Macdonald’s defense in Nick Emmanwori. Emmanwori lit up the NFL Combine and finished with a perfect 10.00 RAS score, essentially putting together an A+ draft cycle. Playing downhill might be an understatement for his game, providing some serious pop and aggression into every snap. After hearing all of these traits, don’t be surprised when he showcases +ball skills at the next level, he might struggle in man coverage initially but the sky's the limit for Emmanwori.
23rd Overall Pick - Green Bay Packers
Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
The Packers can’t go another year without investing a top pick on weapons and Golden would instantly bring a WR1 feel to the team. He's a great route runner with solid hands who knows how to get open and make a man miss. His true home run ability (4.29 40 yard dash) is something the Packers offense needs to hopefully unlock Jordan Love and make some noise in January.
24th Overall Pick - Minnesota Vikings
Malaki Starks, S, UGA
The Vikings are going to be working the phones on Thursday night looking to trade down and secure a couple more picks in this year's draft where they currently only hold 4 total, with just two of those being in the top-100. Ultimately I can see them sticking at #24 after not receiving offers of magnitude and taking stud safety Malaki Starks. Starks is an elite run defender with an elite football IQ, he rarely misses a tackle and features 4.35 speed. Coverage can be hit or miss but the tape shows a playmaker in zone coverage with great recovery speed.
25th Overall Pick - Houston Texans
Donovan Jackson, IOL, Ohio State
The Texans remodeled their entire offensive line this offseason and it is still a work in progress. Donovan Jackson started out as a guard at Ohio State before filling in (and playing great) at Left Tackle for the injured Josh Simmons. The Texans could really lean into Jacksons versatility as they navigate their new look line.
26th Overall Pick - Los Angeles Rams
Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Campbell is one of many prospects who could be selected much higher than this and most wouldn't bat an eye. The Rams have missed an alpha linebacker over the years, and are in a position to be patient with Campbell as he recovers from a torn labrum. Recent reports say he should be ready to roll by training camp, and if he can get up to speed early we could be looking at a day 1 starter for McVay.
27th Overall Pick - Baltimore Ravens
Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Like Campbell, i've seen Shemar Stewart talked about as a potential top-10 pick. The Ravens could go in a couple spots here but it feels like a pass rusher is the biggest need at the moment. Stewart helped himself at the senior bowl and then backed that performance up at the combine. The Ravens will be content with picking up a young high motor player with an extremely high ceiling.
28th Overall Pick - Detroit Lions
Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Mike Green’s talent warrants a higher selection than #28, but off the field concerns have tanked his stock in recent weeks. The Lions need to find a bookend for Aiden Hutchinson, and more importantly need to find someone with a refined pass rush to help create pressure until Hutch is back on the field. Mike Green led the NCAA in sacks last year with 17. His change of direction and closing speed are extremely effective against QB’s looking to extend plays, which should play well in the NFC North.
29th Overall Pick - Washington Commanders
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
The Commanders feel like a team who would trade up to the early 20’s for a Safety or a falling EDGE but in this one they stay put and take a polished pass rusher. Ezeiruaku is a little smaller than your typical Edge rusher, but he just knows how to win. He features a deep pass rush bag and can use his speed / first step to beat offensive lineman and close in on the pocket.
*30th Overall Pick - Cleveland Browns (Projected Trade w/ BUF)
Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
The coveted 3rd QB is taken at pick #30 as Buffalo trades out and Cleveland selects Jaxson Dart. Outside of ensuring they get their guy, this move up also gives the Browns a potential 5th year option to play with. Dart’s Ole Miss Rebels were a little underwhelming in 2024, but he still put up solid numbers. He finished 2024 with a career high in TD’s, Completion %, Yards per attempt, and 1st downs. Dart needs to clean up some mechanics and figure out the deep ball, but he is a threat to beat you with his legs and has a smooth game within 20 yards.
31st Overall Pick - Kansas City Chiefs
Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Josh Simmons was playing great football before he tore his ACL forcing him to miss the final half of the season. Simmons should be cleared for the Pre-Season but the risk is there which is the reason for his fall down the board. The Chiefs need to beef up their OL and can afford to take it slow with Simmons, who can push Jawaan Taylor or Jaylon Moore for a starting spot once he’s healthy.
32nd Overall Pick - Philadelphia Eagles
James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
JPJ has fallen victim to some character concerns that have seemingly dropped his stock around the league, with multiple reports of him “not loving football” circulating. While he might miss out on some serious cash because of this, we have him ending up in about as good of a scenario as a rookie can in 2025. Philly drafts in the trenches, and gets those draft picks in the trenches paid. JPJ has freakish speed for his build, and keeps offensive lineman off balance early and often with an explosive first step and lethal rip move.
